We announce the 15th Annual Congress for Critical Pedagogy and Transformative Leadership to be held in Reggio Emilia, Italy from October 13-17, 2025.
PURPOSE
Our purpose is to work in a spirit of collaboration and collegiality in community with other scholars interested in exploring Freirean pedagogy in theory and praxis in academic and community projects.

The 15th Annual Congress for Critical Pedagogy and Transformative Leadership is dedicated to the lives, loves, and works of Paulo Freire, Jesus “Pato” Gomez, and Joe L. Kincheloe.
Conference Features
We are a dialogic, bilingual (Spanish and English) congress following our original mandate to meet where we can also be of service.
Along with our sessions, we will work with local scholars and visit the surrounding community.
